Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent which helps to cope with vaginal infections, ringworm, jock itch and athlete’s foot. You have a choice of either vaginal tablets or cream. Before you administer Femcare you should inform your doctor if you have any of the following conditions: allergic reactions to antifungal medications, or any kind of allergies. If you are pregnant or want to get pregnant, or breast-feeding, consult with your health care professional first before using clotrimazole vaginal.
This medicine is not for oral administration. For external use only. Make sure you understand how to use this medicine according to the directions on the prescription label. Avoid having sexual intercourse or use condom protection during the treatment period. Do not use along with amphotericin b, products that contain nystatin.
Side effects are usually minor and do not involve medical attention unless it is severe and sudden allergic reaction. Report to your health care specialist if you do not notice any positive effect after 7 days of regular treatment, you may have some other type of infection.
