Description
Clomid short information:
Clomid (Clomiphene citrate) is an oral drug that is used to treat fertility failure and it increases the chances of pregnancy. According to studies in women with ovulation problems the medicine helps develop at least one mature egg and ovulate. If ovulation does not happen, the dose can be increased.
Before you take Clomid you should inform your health care specialist if you have a history of any of the following conditions: blood vessel disease, allergic reactions to clomiphene or any other medicines, or any other components, ovarian cancer, unnatural vaginal bleeding. Stop using immediately when you are already pregnant.
The length of the treatment period should be adjusted individually and according to instructions. Provide your physician with a full list of all other medications and drugs you take, either prescribed or non-prescribed as some of those can interact with clomiphene.
Among possible side effects there may be hot flushes, mild nausea, uncomfortable feeling in breast, and sometimes vomiting. Consult your doctor for the complete list of side effects, and regularly check on your progress.
Customer Reviews:
I was prescribed Clomid for ovulation induction as me and my husband have been trying to have children for about 6 years but unsuccessfully. I was tested and it was discovered that I had polycystic ovaries. Clomid found to be effective for me and I became pregnant on the 4th dose of this medication.

I suffered from Polycystic ovarian syndrome and it was also found out that I had anovulatory cycles. As a result I was recommended Clomid and conceived very soon after starting the treatment with this medication. I used it in combination with Estradiol and Progesterone suppositories. Generally I tolerated the treatment well, the only adverse effects that I experienced were hot flashes. I think it was caused by Estradiol which is known to provoke such reactions. Any side reactions typically caused by Clomid were not observed.

I had a problem of not being able to get pregnant. My medical provider prescribed me Clomid medication that I was taken in the dose of 50mg for 6 months. During the treatment I experienced severe side effects but finally I got pregnant so the benefits overweighed the drawbacks of the drug significantly.

I suffer from polycystic ovarian syndrome and my medical provider told me that it would be really hard for me to conceive. Nevertheless, I was prescribed Clomid to deal with this condition. And now it is the 5th week that I’ve been pregnant and that has happened after 2nd dose of this drug. I want to tell everybody that this drug is a miracle! Try it if you have the same problem!
