Before taking this medication you have to tell your doctor about all decease you have like kidney decease, hepatitis, allergic reactions, pregnant or breast feeding. In the case of this deceases you have to use test dosage and if it does not adjust stop using it.
Chloramphenicol must be taken with water before or after food. You cannot take it on empty stomach. Chloramphenicol has severe reaction on stomach like bleeding. Take doses in regular periods of time. If you miss a dose take next one. Do not take more than prescribed. Do not stop taking it without doctor’s recommendations.
Chloramphenicol can interact with most of medications. If you are having any treatment course you have to tell about it to the doctor to combine them with Chloramphenicol. If you cannot combine these medications you have to stop taking them.
