Description
Ceftin is antibiotic indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections especially skin, sinus, lung, urinary, ear and throat infections.
You must take this medication in special doses if you have blood disorders, kidney and liver deceases and allergic reactions, pregnant and breast-feeding. If you have any of this decease you must take any mild medicine.
Ceftin must be taken with a glass of water in the dose prescribed by the doctor or as directed on label. Also you can crush a tablet in water and take it in liquid form. If you miss a dose you must take next one. Do not take extra doses.
Ceftin can interact with many medications and you must consult your doctor about other treatment courses. If it is necessary discontinue it.
Ceftin has side effects like blood in urine, black stools, depression, back pain, muscle weakness, and skin rash. If you have above-mentioned side effects you must consult a doctor and take steps to stop side effects. Common side effects are changing in taste, dizziness, and vomiting, passing urine more often, drowsiness, weight loss.
